International Students Admission
The Oxford Institutions have established the International Students Cell (ISE) at college campus for assisting international students to tackle various issues such as immigration, orientation, extension of visas, accommodations and other concerns. The International Students’ Cell guides international students in order to adapt to the new environment.
ISE at the Oxford believes in the fruitful co-existence, mutually beneficial teaching-learning approach and appreciation of the cultural diversities that enable our overseas students to enjoy the College life at its fullest.
Foreign Students, SAARC Nationals, Non-Resident Indians and Overseas Citizens of India can seek admissions in our institutions hassle free.

Admission Procedure

  1. Fill in the Application Form, upload the required academic certificates/documents, and submit it by paying the Application fee.
  2. Fulfill the Eligibility Criteria (AIU Equivalency Certificate to be obtained if required) and get Admission Offer letter with fee structure and Bank Account Details.
  3. Once Seat Blocking/Registration is done, Provisional Admission & Letter for Student     VISA are issued.
  4. Report to the Class after submitting Original Certificates/Documents and Payment of remaining tuition fee for the first year.
  5.  Register with Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) to obtain Residential Permit (Within 14 days of arrival) in India.

Students who have qualified from foreign universities or Boards of Higher Education recognized as equivalent by the ‘Association of Indian Universities’ (AIU) are eligible for admission. If required, a reference will be made to AIU to check the equivalency. In case the University /Board is not included in the list, the candidate has to obtain and submit an equivalency certificate from AIU by paying the requisite fee.
International students who would like to study Bachelor and Master Programmes in Oxford Institutions need to obtain Equivalency/Equivalence Certificate from AIU, New Delhi for their previous educational qualification (Grade 12th or Bachelor Degree).

To obtain the equivalency certificate, applicants may directly apply or through the International Students Office for the equivalency certificate from AIU.

If you look at the bottom of your VISA pages you will notice prints that read:

“Registration required within 14 days of arrival in India for a VISA valid for more than 180 days”.


Visit the URL https://indianfrro.gov.in/eservices/eRegistration.jsp to fill the online application to register with FRRO to obtain Residential Permit. Submit the application and the supporting documents to FRRO. On submission of the above-said checklist particulars, FRRO will provide you with Residential Permit, which will be valid for only one year generally.

NOTE:

It should be noted that you should be aware of the validity of your STUDENT VISA issued by the Indian Embassy. In case of expiry of residential permit and STUDENT VISA, the international student has to follow the same procedure to obtain an extension for the same until the completion of the course from FRRO, Bangalore.
