• To acquire Knowledge and develop skills and attitudes necessary for planning and carrying out comprehensive nursing care for sick persons of all age groups in the hospital or community.
• To acquire knowledge and understanding of the basic principles underlying the techniques and methods used in Nursing.
• To develop the ability to think and act independently and to accept responsibility as an individual, a nurse and a citizen.
• To develop the ability to teach people sick / well, the measures which contribute to total health.
• To develop the ability to co-operate with others in hospital and community, in the care of the sick, prevention of diseases and promotion of health.
• To acquire sufficient understanding and ability to supervise and guide auxiliary personnel, who are part of the nursing team.
