PhD programme:
We are proud to share that our department is one the first department  among dental colleges in  Karnataka to be recognized as a PhD department under RGUHS. Dr N Chaitanya Babu, HOD of the department is recognized guide for PhD students.  We have currently a full time PhD and a part-time PhD student pursuing their Phds.

Details of PG Clinic
The PG clinic has 6 dental chairs with a sterilisation room. The post graduates are trained to draw blood, to perform FNAC procedures and biopsy procedures at times.

They are also trained in grossing of surgical specimens, tissue processing (manual, automated tissue processor and microwave oven), sectioning and staining of tissue, use of special stains, use of hard tissue microtome, decalcification procedures and immunohistochemical techniques.
