Department of Prosthodontics including Crown & Bridge
The Department of Prosthodontics has been conducting a comprehensive training program in dental prosthetics for the undergraduate studentsand for students enrolled in the postgraduate program since its inception.
The department trains 500 undergraduate students including interns and 24 postgraduate students at any given time of the academic year.
The Department of Prosthodontics provides the following treatment to all patients at The Oxford Dental college:
Complete Denture Prosthesis, Removable Partial Denture Prosthesis, Fixed Partial Denture Prosthesis, Implant Supported Prosthesis, Management and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders,Advanced Aesthetic Rehabilitationand full mouth rehabilitation. Prosthodontist also has a social responsibility to rehabilitate people who have undergone extensive deformity of the face due to trauma or cancer surgery.
The department also conducts regular Continuing Dental Education Programmes, playing host to a number of reputed national and international speakers, keeping its students and staff up-to-date with the latest developments in Prosthodontics and Dentistry.
