Class Rooms
The Dept. of AUE has a total of 9 classrooms and 2 tutorial rooms for UG and 3 class rooms for PG.There are 4 laboratories well equipped with networking facility. The department also has a Research & Development Lab.The department has a fully equipped seminar hall with state of art audio systems and dual projector facility with capacity 200. The above facilities are shared by both UG and PG programs.The department library has a wide range of technical books and journals for both UG and PG students.There are 4 faculty rooms in the department of which the Professors and Associate Professors are provided with individual faculty rooms.

Details of Laboratories :

Fluid Testing and Fluid Mechanics Lab
Area : 160 Sq. mt
Description: Flash and Fire point apparatus- Abel, Cleveland and Pensky Martin. Viscometers - Redwood and Saybolt. Weighing scale - 50 ml measuring jar. Thermometers. Carbon residue. Calorimeter - Bomb and Junkers. Cloud and pour point apparatus.
Conducted Labs : Fluid Testing and Fluid Mechanics Lab.

Automobile Engine Components Lab
Description: Clutches, Suspension systems, Braking systems, Carburetors, Engines - Two stroke and Four stroke, Steering systems, Differentials, Gearboxes, Lubrication system, Cooling system.

Automotive Chassis Components Lab:
Description: Assemble and Disassemble of chassis components for light motor vehicles (LMV) and heavy motor vehicles (HMV)

Engine Testing and Emission Measurement Lab
Description: Study and testing on MPFI Engine and variable compression ratio engine, Exhaust emission test of S.I. Automotive engine.

Scanning and Reconditioning Lab
Description : Wheel Balancing, Wheel Alignment, Chassis Dynamometer, Cylinder boring and Valve Refacing, Engine Performance Test Rig. Conducted Labs: Scanning and Reconditioning Lab

Finite Element Modeling and Analysis Lab
Description: Desktop- Connoi - 30. Intel(R) Xeon (R) CPU E3-1220 v3, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD,
Conducted Labs: CAED Lab, CAMD Lab, FEA Lab.
