Research Centre Activities
The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) is a recognized Research centre under VTU in 2011 with Three research approved guides and 8 research scholars.
Mrs. Selvi E., Mr. Chengappa and Mr. Indra Kumar R completed Course Works successfully and Pre Comprehensive Viva under the University Research Center.
An Expert Lecture on "How to prepare effective Research Paper” was conducted on 21st June 2018 by Dr.M. S. Shashidhara , Professor & Head, Dept.of MCA.
An Expert Lecture on “Importance of System Analysis and Computing Application in Research scenario” was conducted on 18st July 2018 by Dr.R.S. Viswanath ,Project Director Intel , R & D ,Bengaluru.
Department of MCA & ECE got Conference grant of Rs. 200,000.00 (Rupees Two Lakh Only) for Conducting of IEEE-C2SPCA – 2013 from NRB-DRDO, New Delhi on 5th June 2013.
Department R&D Center encourages faculties and students to apply for Grants to various Research sponsored agencies.
Department encourages Faculties and Students for presenting Research Papers in International/National Conferences and participating in various Symposium/Workshops/Seminars/Faculty Development Program in India and abroad.
The Department Library is well stocked with books, magazines and journals. It has more than 3000 book titles and 11600 volumes for the benefit of the students. The department also has CD Library with more than 200 CD Titles containing soft copy of the subjects in the course.
Department Library Procure National, International Journals and On-line e-journals.
