Eligibility for Admission


Admission notification is published in the leading news papers immediately after the KSEEB-SSLC results are announced. Generally, this would be done in the month of April/May for respective academic year.
Eligibility Criteria: Pass in SSLC/SSC or Equivalent/ PUC Pass/ Failed.

Applications in the prescribed format (enclosed with the prospectus) should reach the Principal within the time limit set by the Board of Technical Examinations along with the attested copies of the following documents.
Statement of Marks in SSLC or equivalent examinations

Transfer Certificate(Leaving Certificate) from the institution last attended

Five(5) years Study Certificate before SSLC or equivalent examinations- for Karnataka students.

Eligibility Certificate obtained from Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka ( for non-Karnataka students Only)
Six(6) Nos of Passport and Six(6) Nos of stamp size photographs.

These documents are mandatory for getting admissions approved by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.

  • Must have passed the Karnataka S.S.L.C or equivalent exam by securing 35% Aggregate marks. This rule also applies for candidates belonging to Category - I, II(a), II(b), III(a), III(b) and rural category.
  • The candidate should have studied in any of the Karnataka Govt. approved institution from 1st Standard to 10th Standard at least for a period of 2 years. The five years study certificate should be counter signed by the Jurisdictional Block Education Officer.
  • The candidates who have migrated to Karnataka from other states are not eligible to enjoy the reservation Policy of Karnataka Government.
  • Must be in employment as on date in a recognized approved firm/organization with at least three years experience in the field concerned.
  • The candidate should produce along with the application a 'No Objection Certificate' and 'Experience Certificate' issued from the employer concerned and S.S.I Registration Certificate.
