Events Conducted
A ) Guest Lectures/ Workshops Conducted:
- A two day workshop on “HANDS ON TRAINING ON LAB-VIEW AND REMOTE ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS” has been organized by Cymbeline Private Limited at TOCE from24th and 25th September 2018. The aim of the workshop was to provide knowledge for students in the field of Lab-View and Remote Engineering.
- Mr.Chethan S Assistant professor along with students of fifth semester attended two day hands on training workshop on “ANDROID CONTROLLED PICK AND PLACE ROBOT USING AVR CONTROLLER”, held at MIT campus, Anna University, Chennai on 6th and 7th October -2018.
B ) Value Added / Career Oriented / Technical Training conducted :
- Pre-Placement Technical training on “ROBOTICS” was conducted from 18/2/2019 to 23/2/2019 for VIII Sem students by AGIIT
- Soft Skill and Aptitude training for the Academic year 2018 – 2019 for VII Semester Students was organized and conducted in the department from 03/10/2018 to 11/10/2018. The training was part of skill development for the students which would help them in their career and their placements
- A Six Day Technical Training on “Industrial Automation” in association with Autmac Solutions, Prolific Technologies Pvt. Ltd., was organized for final year students from 07/03/2017 to 13/03/2017.
- An Eight Day Technical Training on “Embedded Systems” in association with Cranes Software was organized for final year students from 07/03/2017 to 16/03/2017.
C) Workshops and Seminars Attended by the Faculties
Dr.Rohini Deshpande attended the International Conference (CECNET2018) as Invited Speaker. It was hosted by Rangsit university Thailand from 16th – 19th November 2018
Dr.N.B.Doddapattar attended National conference on “Recent Trends in Mechanical Engineering” conducted by Vemana Institute of Technology, Koramangala on 21st and 22nd April 2017.
Mrs.Rajeswari.M, Mrs.Premala, Mrs.Rekha and Ms.Rani Aishwarya attended AICTE sponsored two week FDP program on “World Class New Product Design and Manufacturing” conducted by Automobile department in TOCE from 1st – 13th January 2018.
