Moot Court Committee

Introduction
The Oxford College of Law's Moot Court Committee functions for training the students for developing their skills with respect to research, drafting and arguments.
The Moot Court practice is basically like a court simulator or model court platform where the students are trained well to do a professional law practice in the real courts.
The committee works for the benefit of the students to aid them to become talented mooters and thereby to mould them as a professionally-competent and socially-responsible advocates.

Vision
The vision of the moot court committee is to enhance the spirit of advocacy among the students.

Objectives

  • To conduct the workshops related to moot court
  • To train the students with regards to moot court
  • To conduct internal auditions for the moot court competitions
  • To conduct national moot court competition every year
  • To promote the idea and importance of mooting among students
  • To send the students to other law colleges for moot court competitions
  • To set a benchmark for an Oxfordian mooter
